Fun and Security Protection For All

Seems that everyone likes to play with it.

I ordered another one for my wife and I. Everyone plays with it when they are sitting around. These are especially good when you get up in the night and head for the den. You just click and it lights up the way. Security is the best nitch for this product and I highly recommend it. Intruders leave the minute the light comes on. What makes it even better is they think your in the room which lights up. They don’t realize you can be any where in the house or even outside. Great tool to work with and I am sure I will have some fun with it this Halloween.

I ordered 2 and they arrived promptly as Amazon always gets it right. However, one worked and the other did not. I went online and filled out the claim and printed the label for return. Amazon even paid the return shipping. As soon as you finish the return paperwork they ship you a replacement , so it was back in 2 days. Now everything works great. I see cheaper products out there but this seemed to be a little higher quality, so for a few bucks I went with the Skylink. I don’t regret it.

The switch works great, exactly as promised. The nice thing was that Amazon would ship this to our location which is in Puerto Rico, & they won’t ship many electronic items here, so if you live in a hard-to-ship-to area, this may be your best solution. The remote works from a good distance away & we hung the unit upside down as per instructions – also a good idea if you mount it outside so water doesn’t get inside. Now we can turn the light on/off from inside the house. I heartily recommend this product.

I use it only for short distances of up to 40 feet and it works perfectly. I use it to turn on and off my train layout. It is great if you want to turn on and off something which doesn’t have its own switch or the switch is inconveniently located.

The remote is very small and light, and convenient to carry. You plug the receiver into an outlet and then plug the device you want to control into the receiver. The plug and cord on the receiver is short so it will hang from a wall outlet. You can hear a clicking sound from the receiver when it activates (probably from a relay). The remote has a small hole at the top so you can put a lanyard in it to keep the remote handy. I haven’t owned it long enough to know what the battery life is going to be like in the remote.

It always works and the price is great. I would definitely recommend it.

The product is working very well. Seems to do everything it claims.

Worked Great! Great For Old Ladies!

The electrical plugs on this unit are very sturdy like you would find on a surge protector or power strip… it won’t break or pull out of the socket easily. It takes up some space but I see no issues with it being too much space… maybe an eyesore if you have it hanging out of the wall in the middle of a room. The remote is a good size (not too small or large). It has a hole to put on a key ring or lanyard. It is pretty good in terms of use. Within the same room it turns the lamp on and off every button push. From the opposite end of the house through 2 interior walls it works almost every time. I have not tried it outside. Overall this is an awesome product that I would purchase again.

I have used it both outside and inside. Works every time and is very useful. I use it to control my outside low voltage lights and bring it inside to control Christmas lights each December. Easy to use and has worked flawlessly for me for over two years now.

They are used several times a day with no problems. I read one description that said they are outdoor/indoor also. The distance in my office is less than 20 feet, but they work flawlessly. If you use two separate remotes in the same area, Skylink recommends using the two channels so there is no overlapping. I have the Channel A & channel B for separate control over the two lamp sets. One remote even works two lamps. I highly recommend them.

so far, i’ve had to purchase various bands and types of the wireless combinations as i have something set up (wireless outlet) in most of my room throughout the house and i did not want to run into same frequency conflicts. so far, everything works well independently!

We didn’t want it on timer because sometimes my kids liked to blow it up during the day for fun. So this remote control served its purpose and was clicked on and off about 150x over the Christmas season. The range is good. We stood inside and was not actually facing the outlet and it still got the signal and worked with little effort. Highly recommended!

I use a wireless mouse and keyboard, so I am nowhere near my set-up. I also have four external hard drives, which I wanted to be able to power up and down from where I normally sit (which is nowhere near the tower). So blessed be this awesome wireless remote outlet. I can turn my hard drives on and off when needed, and I don’t have to have them running needlessly in the background.

After a few weeks it still works great, and having a option of a or b circuit means down the road i can expand. if you look around i am sure you can find a use for this, buy it and you will find a million uses.

Great Indoor Product, Saved Me an Electrical Hassle!

I carry the remote on my belt. This works far better than what I have previously used, and the price is excellent.

Saved me from wiring a new switch for lights… I have it linked up to white Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling… wirelessly!

Everyone who has seen me click the button to turn the lights on has been amazed and asked me about it!

Definitely a great buy! :)

It works with an RF remote, so it can’t be controlled by a learning TV remote, which I would like, but it works great. There was one problem. Right where you plug your device into the 110v. outlet, there’s a RIDGE in the plastic housing. I use mine with a power supply module for an external hard drive and its impossible to plug it in with that ridge right next to the socket. However, I notched out the ridge with my Dremil tool very easily and my power module fits now. The module works great otherwise, and the ridge might not be an issue with just a standard plug. The Maker of this switch should remove that obtrusive ridge. You could also probably use one of those short pigtails to make it work with a large plug-in. I would recommend this device.

It is an under statement to say that i have tried several other brands and they all stopped working in two days.I almost gave up and went to timers but i like to control my lights.I am so happy that amazon is selling this product and it really works.I am going to buy another one with channel B so i can control my fire place blower fan,and yes i checked to make sure it would handle the amperage. To sum it up the remotes work great and the controlers are made well.

He told me and showed me how it works. I was impress. Now i have them installed so my mom feels safer in the morning and its dark to see outside. My dad has them connected outside with lights. with a single press of the button the lights turn on. If press again lights off. This box will let you control the electricity to what ever is connected when ever you want.

I like this one because it works as it should (I have not tried it at distances outside of 10 feet), and the design of the wall plug is very intelligent. Also the button switch can be attached to a magnet due to metal in it, which is the design function I used. The price is right and it arrived very fast on the wonderful Amazon Prime. The only negative is that it does not use a standard 9-volt, AAA, or AA battery, but few do. And I knew this fact ahead of time.

Distance is approx. 20 feet, and goes through plaster, wood and concrete cinder blocks. Exactly what I wanted.

Wheelchair User Says “It Works Excellently to Operate My Outdoor Fan!”

I initially thought it wouldn’t make it through a few walls even though the distance was only about 40 feet, but holding the button down for a second (vs. just a quick blip) did the job.

It works even through a plywood wall and a metal door! One note: It may not work if you just quickly “punch” the button. You need to hold it down for about a half second so the relay can open or close the switch.

The gazebo is located near the Pool area, so this was a great Solution, especially in the Evenings & Night time, when we need to turn on some novelty lighting, from the comfort of our patio, without having to go and manually plug-in cords and then have to unplug them later.

The controller is small, so we put it on a bright-colored Neck/key chain; that way you can either wear it or hang it up, but you can see it quite easily, and don’t have to search for it.

Works almost perfect, there are some ‘Angles’ to the Receiver, where you might have to move around to get a signal.

This wireless remote control with included battery works like a charm. It even works from inside my house to operate a fan located outside.

I’ll probably order another for other similar uses!

When it’s dark I like a little ambient lighting but it was to much of a hassle having to get up reach the back of the tv and turn on the light. So, I bought this remote and it works great. I don’t even have to point it at the TV, it always turns on and off when I push the button.

I couldn’t find anything to do this until I stumbled across the Skylink. The plug on the lights are inside the shed about 50′ away from the patio door. I bought the skylink on the hope it would work without my having to rewire the lights. I plugged the Skylink into the recepticle closest to the lights plug. I said a little prayer and plugged the lights into the Skylink. I walked back into the house pressed the remote control button and the lights came on. Since then, every time the button is pressed and the lights either come on or go off as needed. This ranks right up there with sliced bread for me. If you need a remote control for a power source, Skylink is the way to go. Just remember that there is a limit on the wattage it supports. Check your need and if its in limits, go for the Skylink. You won’t be disappointed. I won’t hesitate if I need another one.

This device enable you to control the lights in wireless remote control. I use it to control fluorescence light, and it works out beautifully. You dont’ have to hire contrator to do wiring anymore because of this clever design. Need to consider the circuit overload problem and make sure the electric device you want to control is within specified limit.

Durable, High Quality And Great Value

They’re obviously rugged and well-constructed and have proven themselves in my home for over a year of daily use. The one downside is that there are only two frequencies sold and it’s a ‘Forrest Gump’ proposition (“you never know what you’re gonna get”). Otherwise, I would highly recommend it.

Figured I may find a couple of uses for them. However, they are all on the same frequency. No way to change.

So, if you have two applications within 100-150′ of each other, one will turn the other on and vice-versa.

No big deal as now I have one unit driving my alarm with two transmitters.

Another quirk I want to share with you is that the receiver (big box), must be mounted vertically on a wall with the mains jack (what you’ll plug your device into) pointed down! So, I guess that means you cannot leave it laying on the floor (?).

My only guess for this requirement is that there is a mercury-whetted relay inside that needs the mercury at a certain point. Cannot hazard a guess of what may happen if mounted other than their requirements (?)

This would be a good thing for the mfg. to touch upon in their blog above.
Otherwise, good unit and a good value.

I have tried another product without success. This device was the solution. The remote is very small so easy to use and leave on the bedside table. It has a wide range. Highly recommend.

The usual distance between the unit and the remote control is 40-50 feet. I installed the base unit in a large PVC junction box so the rain would not directly hit it. The remote works most of the time. At first, the remote worked only after multiple tries. I then replaced the battery in the remote thinking that the original battery could be weak. The performance is much better with a fresh battery. This is a slick trick – and after 2 months of daily use, it is working well.

I have used several wireless switches over the years and this is the best one. Don’t pay more as this is a quality well built device. Cheaper models I’ve tried would randomly turn on and off or quit working entirely. If you need to control more than one item please note there is a channel A and channel B model, get one of each for independent control. To avoid water infiltration the item must be hung vertically as depicted in the instructions and as noted by other reviewers.

It has a pretty good range and I have not had any issues with it.

The build it very sturdy. It is in a hard plastic housing. The remote is also solid. I keep the remote on my key chain and have the receiver on a power strip so I can power on multiple devices.

This might seem silly but, it was a little akward to reach this switch for both lamps when entering the room. Now both are contolled by the one remote button on the table. Little things can make life just a touch easier!

Controls Power to Audio Mixer

It works great, the remote even reaches from other rooms of the house. The ONLY complaint I have is that it should’ve come with 2 remotes, but thats not really a problem. Very happy and would buy from again!!

It’s plugged into a very inconvenient location, and it would wake my toddler up when I went into the room next to hers to go unpug it. I tried this from across the house and it works great! No more waking the little ones. Easy to use.

I was sick of having to walk behind the aquarium and wrestle the plug from the power strip. I installed this product, walked away, hit the button and it worked perfectly. I tested the range and much to my surprise, I can pretty much walk about 40 feet from the receiver/plug. I am very pleased with this product, and would most certainly purchase it again. Another plus is that it includes the battery for the remote.

I also wanted to be able to turn it on and off from inside my house which is about 50 ft away. As for a floodlight, I bought Cooper Lighting MS100PG 110 Degree 100W Portable Plug-in Motion Security Floodlight to plus into it. Works like a charm. I could not have been happier with this product.

Now I can just hit this button from across the room, and it works amazing! I have this device between a battery backup and an extension cord hooked up to 2 LCD monitors, 2 studio monitor speakers, 1 studio subwoofer, and 2 floor lamps.

My mixer is on all the time if it’s plugged in. It became a hassle to constantly unplug the mixer, and I felt I might break a pin on the mixer’s power cable, so I purchased this. It has worked wonders so far. I keep the remote within a five foot distance, so I can’t speak towards its range, but it is very responsive. My mixer turns on immediately after pressing the remote button.

Like all electronics, they need to be reset occasionally, maybe once-twice a year. So, what we did is to install a pair of these, one on the switch, and one on the router, and power reset them remotely when needed.

They hang in a plastic bag at the closest possible point to the devices, with a sheet of instructions. I test them every 3-4 months, before the office opens up. So far, they work just fine.

The switch died leaving on and off. I like to dim the light particularly when watching a movie in the evening. To replace the switch was just too expensive and the lamp was perfectly good. Voila! Here’s the solution and now I can turn the light off completely from the couch and make it movie night and not have to get up to put the lights back on!
